iPhone – There Really Is An App For Everything

Once you discover the App Store, you’ll see how applications can make your iPhone do just about anything. There are thousands of iPhone apps to choose from. Here are a few that will help you get the most out your iPhone, wherever you go.

That’s how Apple introduces their new “Apps for Everything” site.

iPhone Apps for managing moneyYou will find apps for:

  • Cooks
  • The Great Outdoors
  • Work
  • Moms and Dads
  • Going Out
  • Traveling
  • Keeping Current
  • Music
  • Students
  • Working Out
  • Managing Money
  • Fun And Games

Each category is then broken down into sections, like the Apps for Working Out category then goes on to display options such as “Get pumped”, “Look for adventure”, “See how you climb” etc. and suggests some apps within those sections.

There’s also an app for weight loss – I’ll be posting about this in the near future, how I personally managed to lose 15kg’s using an iPhone app during the first 5 months of 2009.

  1. WOW. I kept thinking throughout the leaked iPhone commercial: “This can’t be real… wait, can it? No, no… wait, maybe?… nah… err, yes?” It was really well done! But the URL gave it away in the end.

I still don’t have an iPhone. Everyday I hold out I become a stronger person.

    • Of course it’s real…. it’s on the Internet, and the Internet never lies, right? Right….RIGHT?!?

You’re right about holding out for getting an iPhone will make you a stronger person… but I gave up on that a long time ago and decided to get one, as it makes me a happier person 😀

    • Absolutely. It’s not the phone part, that’s for sure, I almost only use it when I need to order a pizza 🙂 (but of course the use of phone depends also on your job and how the people in your network prefer to communicate with you – in my case, it’s mostly SMS and email).
