Friday Flick Find: DIY Virtual Reality Goggles & Augmented Reality

This is amazing, once again Friday Flick Find comes with a bonus video 🙂 Well I just thought that those two videos were kinda related. The first one is the coolest one if you’re a bit into Do It Yourself stuff and happen to own an Android-based smartphone such as HTC Magic (I don’t think any other phones support compass mode in Google Street View yet, including the iPhone, unfortunately). Nevertheless, those are some very simple DIY Virtual Reality goggles.

The second video is about augmented reality. Imagine talking a walk in Basel, Switzerland, here in 2009 wearing goggles that will turn everything you see into something from the Middle Ages – as you walk!

    • Yeah it looks funny but I would still like to try both of them, just to experience it 🙂
