Absolutely. There’s a reason they are subscribtion based and not free Personally I like to use UseNetServer, but Newshosting (above) are a bit cheaper.

Depending on your usage etc. I’d say there are multiple reasons for selecting newsgroups over torrents

Thanks for the news. I had totally forgotten about newsgroups…especially for years now since torrents have been so popular. I started getting into newsgroups years ago but found it a little frustrating to get good at using.
