Salve, alcune cose non mi sono chiare: fino a hce punto il nofollow è considerato tale da google? I nofollow dai grandi solcial sembrano essere presi in considerazione come follow mentre i nofollow di normali siti o blog sembrano non influire sul posizionamento del priprio sito.
Mi sapresti dare maggiori dettagli?

very good info. pretty much i have been wasting my time by trying to get backlinks on .edu site. Why do people seem to think the .gov and .edu site carry more weight?

That’s correct Anne, basic knowledge for those with some SEO experience But probably not for many, still.

I didn’t know Facebook used ‘nofollow’, but I kinda just assumed. I also didn’t bother checking since most of the stuff there, requires a Facebook account – and I don’t think GoogleBot has one

He’s basically saying they would have treated Facebook and Twitter as any other web page, except Facebook pages are often not public and can’t be crawled, and Twitter uses nofollow.

Actually, Facebook uses nofollow as well.

I have a feeling nofollow links do carry some weight, so I left Matt a question about Google’s ability to follow the shortened URL’s that Twitter uses.
