I also love my Lowepro Slingshot 350AW bag. I take photos here in Chicago and this bad is fantastic when you have to get the job done fast. I take photos in bad neighborhoods so being able to have quick access is important. Nice review.

Hi Serge. You DO know that the Nikon D5000 is a camera and the Lowepro Slingshot is a bag, right? So your statement, “you can’t compare that”, doesn’t really make any sense.

1) Why is the camera not good?
2) The camera is not professional type I wouldn’t even call it semi-pro, it’s more entry-level DSLR.
3) I would love for you to find something that’s better AND cheaper than the Nikon D5000… ?

The bag looks pretty good, the camera is not. If you are getting a professional type camera they have something a lot better then this for a cheaper price.

They’re really great quality, the Lowepro bags. I also just bought a Slingshot 100 yesterday, now I have three, so I better stop now

Since your 500D is a loan camera, I can understand why you don’t want to pay the Lowepro-price and go with a China brand instead. But once you get so hooked on DSLR and buy your own cam, maybe you’ll get a better bag

I was about to buy a LowePro bag for my loan camera from Canon too (Canon EOS 500D). It was quite expensive so I decided to buy a china brand from eBay lol. But if you have your own camera, the price is worth it
