Sony Announce New Cool, Colorful Video & MP3 Player: Walkman E450

Today Sony announced a new addition to their wide range of MP3 players, the Walkman E450 which is a video- and MP3 player with 2″ QVGA LCD display, available in five cool colors and three different memory options being 4GB, 8GB and 16GB.

A fully charged battery will last you 50 hours of music playback and up to 10 hours video. The battery can be recharged up to 80% in just an hour and a half.

Walkman E450 also comes with built-in SensME technology which will analyze and categorize your music library into themed channels – automatically.

And if you’re alone, you can also take advantage of Lyrics Sync and Karaoke mode. Obviously the E450 doesn’t know if you’re alone or not, but remember to show consideration for people around you, before you start to sing your heart out to Celine Dion’s Titanic soundtrack.

Sony Walkman E450 connects to your computer using USB and comes with an application that allows you to browse through files on the Walkman and transfer music directly from your computer.

Sony also updated their WALKMAN A840 which will now be available in white and with memory capacity of 64GB which should hold up to 15,000 songs or 244 hours of video.

The new Walkman E450 and the updated A840 will be available from August 2010.
