Conclusion: January ’11

Visitors are still increasing slightly. I’d like more visitors of course but at least it’s not dropping – and considering that I’m not doing much marketing (none) for the blog, at the moment, then I’m satisfied.

As for earnings, I’m satisfied as well. It’s a bit less than December but unlike many previous months with higher incomes, this month all the income “came to me”. I didn’t go out there and look for business partners or offers. I just sat back and created content while waiting for them to come to me. This probably means I spend less time to make $350 a month than the amount of time I spent back when earnings were in the $450 range. I can live with that. Remember that your own time is not free either!

It’s good to see that Kontera reached $10/month now.

  1. Oh! Your new visitors are getting higher and higher in number and your earning too, even it’s a lower amount than the previous month but it still a good amount because you have done a zero marketing….

Keep going, we the blog readers are with you 😉

  2. Thanks for sharing.

I can’t believe Carloline’s breasts are still hanging in there (get it?) in the #1 position.

Shows the power of search as I assume they are getting here by typing that into google and linking here.

I just checked from here in Atlanta and you are in position #3 for [Caroline Wozniacki Breasts] on Google.

Can you tell from your Google Analytics how many clicks you got last month from Google on for that term?

    That’s unreal isn’t it?

    • “Can you tell from your Google Analytics how many clicks you got last month from Google on for that term?” – yes I can, but it’s a business secret 😉

And yes, it’s amazing that – after more than a year – that breast article is still so popular, but surely it’s because of the Google placement. I can also see it my analytics when she’s playing tournaments, then I get a few more hits on it than usual.

  3. Ha ha, I knew it was a secret…and I know why. 🙂

But you know, for your site this is not a bad thing at all. You can pick up some subscribers out of this stream of visitors since your site has such broad appeal.

A site like mine would be too specific to benefit from a broad stream of visitors like this, but I could see yours benefiting from it.

Of course, you already know all this.

  5. Congratulations! But I recommend to you not to facilitate information of adsense publicly. It’s possible that it goes in opposition to his policies
