5 Technologies Your Smart Bathroom Needs

Smart homes have been a topic of much discussion lately. In fact, if you take a look at any lifestyle blog or magazine, you’ll probably see something about these. Technology keeps evolving, and we got to see smart TVs, smart ovens, and even smart refrigerators. But what about the bathroom? It may seem like there’s not too much place for high tech there, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. So, if you’ve decided to make your bathroom smart, you might want to think about investing in these 5 technologies.

Wi-Fi Scale

One of the best tools you can use for losing weight is a scale. However, instead of using a regular bathroom scale, you might want to think about getting a Wi-Fi scale. This little thing connects to your home’s Wi-Fi and feeds you with all the information you need in order to stay in good shape. With a Wi-Fi scale tracking the data for you, there’s no need to insert it into your fitness app or notebook yourself. Moreover, Wi-Fi scale isn’t any larger than a traditional scale, meaning that keeping it in your bathroom shouldn’t be an issue.

Mopping robot

Maintaining your bathroom floor can be tough, especially if you have a large family. Luckily, no longer do you need to do all the mopping yourself. There are little devices often referred to as “mopping robots.” With one of these, you can keep your bathroom floor sparkling clean without lifting a mop. Not only does using a mopping robot mean you don’t have to clean the floor by yourself any more, but its size and mobility allow it to clean all the hard-to-reach spots you’ve never been able to reach before.

Mood lighting

Mixing coloured lights while in the bath is a great way to create the perfect atmosphere for indulgence. There are chromatherapy treatments like this, but why pay for them when you can have everything you need right in your bathroom? LED lights have never been more popular and that’s why they now come in all kinds of shapes and colors. Choose the ones you’d like to see in the bathroom and start your chromatherapy straight away. If you’re not sure which colours you should go for, doing a little research on which colours promote certain feelings is recommended.

Surround system

We talked about unwinding in your bathroom above, and if you want to make the entire experience even better, introducing a surround system into your bathroom is highly recommended. This will help you create just the right ambiance in order to get all the relaxation you need. There are smart speakers you can connect to your smartphone and play any music you wish. Just make sure you have a large bath you can lie in while listening to music. If not, you might want to look up baths online.

Sensor taps

Sensor taps are another great addition for your smart bathroom. This type of taps can make the time you spend in your bathroom even more pleasant. On top of this, sensor taps are a great ally when it comes to saving water. And since we all need to think about reducing our carbon footprint, getting sensor taps turns out to be an amazing idea. Luckily, there are plenty of these available on the market, and you should be able to find the sensor taps that match your bathroom design.

There you have it – 5 technologies you should definitely think about adding into your smart bathroom. With new devices being released every day, make sure you keep an eye on similar most recent technologies you might want to get as well.
