Thunderfly Bug Exploring The Inside Of My LCD Monitor

While watching the Fun Friday & Income Report Breakdown by Deneil Merritt, I noticed a thunderfly (thrips) bug starting to wander around on the inside of my Samsung LCD monitor.

I don’t know what it did, maybe it was trying to rate Deneil’s video or looking for the “Digg!”-button.

Or maybe it was trying to map out it’s new world inside my monitor? In that case, it must have gotten confused rather quickly as a whole new world appears every time I open up a new window!

In order to get it out, I turned off my monitor and laid it down on the table with the screen facing down. I then took a light and pointed at the vent openings in top, so the only source of light were coming from the outside – hoping that the thunderfly would eventually find it’s way out again. I left it like that for 30 minutes or so, I don’t know if it’s out or not, but so far I haven’t seen it yet.

I hate thunderflies.

I didn’t even know those things existed, or I guess I didn’t know what they are if I’ve seen one – 1mm! I’d open up a site that has annoying music and maybe a lot of popups and popunders and promises to get 10,000 Twitter followers in one day. That should send that bug running for a nicer place.

I can see how that would be annoying. I hope one never gets in mine or anybody elses ever again. (Even though it will)

I started out with one thunderbug about 3 days ago crawling around I have now got 5 crawling under the screen. They have appeared without the monitor being on so I cant see where light heat etc will attract them out. Guys at computer store said put a vacuum over any vents but I have no vents on the screen. HELP!!!!
