Guest Posting

TechPatio.com is open for guest posts – and by submitting a guest post you could gain exposure, inbound links and relevant readers via organic traffic.

Requirements for guests posts:

Minimum 400 words per article.
Maximum two do-follow links in your author bio.
Relevant in-post links are allowed, but not too many.
Article must be exclusive for TechPatio.com and is not to be posted elsewhere.
Affiliate links are allowed but preferable not for products/services already being advertised on TechPatio.com (again, not too many in-post links, please).
Advertisers will be charged per article. More details below.

All articles are subject to approval by TechPatio.com and in case it is rejected (which happens rarely), you will be notified so you can use the article elsewhere if you like.

If any changes are required to the article, either by you or TechPatio.com, you will be notified before we publish it.

Fee for “advertisement” guest posts!

If you’re submitting a guest post on behalf of a business (ie. your article is about your business or the do-follow links points to a business), there’s a fee for publishing each article. Please contact us for more information. Personal website owners and bloggers will still be able to submit guest articles for free but if you want to mention your business, product etc., you will be charged accordingly (PayPal and NetEller accepted).

Paid guest articles will be listed “above the fold” on the frontpage of TechPatio.com (top 4 articles) for a minimum of 48 hours as well as tweeted on Twitter to 15,000 followers, submitted to Digg and StumbleUpon and will always be searchable and indexable by the search engines via the TechPatio archive, so your do-follow links will remain intact and people will still be able to find your article when they search for your business/product. Paid articles are also allowed to have multiple do-follow links in the article, for example two links in the article body and two links in the author bio, of that’s what you want.

How to submit a guest post…

The best way to submit a guest post is to contact us first and let us know your idea. You’ll usually get a reply within 24 hours and if we like it, you can either go ahead and submit the article or begin writing it. Please attach the article via e-mail in either a text/Word document with all the links included. Simple HTML versions are allowed too as this will make it even easier for us to simply copy/paste the article.
