This is going to be a very short summary & income report-post, I’ll tell you why in a minute. But first, Congratulations to me for having TechPatio.com online for 6 months now. That’s six full months of blogging. It’s been both fun and exhausting, it’s not as easy as they all say it is
That was the good news, now for the bad news. It seems that somewhere in the beginning of December, I might have screwed something up. Google Analytics stopped gathering statistics around December 4th and since I don’t check my Google Analytics more than a few times a month, especially not during a very busy December, then I haven’t noticed it until just now when I went to gather data for this post.
Oh well, without the Google Analytics data, I won’t be putting down any December hits. I do have some stats from both WordPress and Woopra, but I want to keep it consistent and go with Google Analytics all the way, when comparing numbers. But, we must look at the bright side of things and now January get to be fun as I have no clue exactly how it went during December and don’t know exactly what to expect. Actually I do and it didn’t go too well because I didn’t post much…
There’s still a few new numbers though…
|Avg. time on site:||n/a||02:05||01:51||01:20||02:14||01:30|
Conclusion: December ’09
As mentioned above, I didn’t post much in December (due to lack of time) and for the same reason I didn’t read that many other blog posts nor did I comment on more than just a few of them. That’s probably why I only had half the amount of blog comments on TechPatio during December compared to November. When you don’t comment on other blogs, it’s likely they’ll forget about you and don’t comment either.
Money from ReviewMe was good in December, I did a bunch of sponsored posts and that helped keep up the income at least, now that Google Adsense dropped.
