How to Use Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Camera

Samsung, at Park Avenue Armory, New York, unveiled the best note ever, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Note 8 is powered by 2 cameras which give it tons of options.

Samsung Note 8 is a giant loaded with lots of features but the best innovation by Samsung in Note 8 is the dual cameras which have the photo and video stabilization in both the lenses.

Samsung is the first company in the world to give this feature.

How to Use Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Camera

Note 8’s camera lets you snap a blurred background that you can get with a larger, DSLR. Also takes pro shots in portraits, close-ups, or anything else where you want your subject to stand out from the background as much as possible.

Let us head towards the hidden features of Galaxy Note 8 Camera.

1) Launching Camera

Note 8’s camera app opens quickly from a tap on the camera icon at home screen.

Or, you can launch it even faster with a hidden shortcut- Double-tap the power button in rapidly. This action will directly open the camera no matter what you are in between. Even if the phone is locked, this works perfectly. Cool!

2) Live Focus Images

The Note 8’s ability to soften the background of your image is the live focus. To access it, click the Live Focus button placed above the shutter. The camera will zoom in, just like if you were using the tele camera, and then indicate you to be at least four feet away from your subject.

With a slider above the shutter button, you can adjust how much blur is applied to the background. By the Gallery app, you can adjust the blur after a picture is taken.

But, there’s a twist in the story, Live Focus images don’t look great in low light and can look artificial in good light if you have a busy background.

That’s why I recommend these Photo Editing apps to take photos to next level. These apps have lots of customisation options and advantages. They can make you a social network ninja. 😉

3) Zooming the photos

Note 8 lets you digitally zoom in on your subject if you drag the shutter button left or right or pinch the screen with two fingers.

Or, you can skip directly to the telephoto camera by tapping the tiny “x2” button at the bottom of the viewfinder window. This will get you somewhat closer to your subject — if you need even more zoom, you can then drag the shutter button to enter the digital zoom function.

4) Other Modes

The Note 8’s camera app adds lots of other modes like filters, stickers, panoramas, and Etc. Swipe left to right from the main camera screen and you can access panorama mode, slow-motion video, hyper-lapse, and more. You can even download more camera modes, such as a GIF maker, from this screen.

Swipe left to right from the main camera screen and you can access panorama mode, slo-mo video mode, hyper-lapse, and more.

There are even more options if you dive into the camera’s settings menu, such as Motion Photo, HDR, voice controls, tracking autofocus, and more.

Conclusion

Note 8 is a strong competitor to Apple and One Plus in terms of Camera. Note 8 has got a powerful camera and coupling with a few photo editing apps, the photos can be a beauty.

Since Innovation lies in Samsung’s core, we cannot expect the Note 8’s limits.

What’re your favorites? I would love to know.
