Apple on Tuesday has officially announced its highly-anticipated October event, which is scheduled on Monday, October 18, and will be broadcast live from Apple Park.
Named “Unleashed”, the tech giant is most likely hinting that the new M1X-powered MacBook Pros and AirPods 3 are possibly coming.
Apple’s last held virtual conference was just a month ago in September, where Tim Cook and others unveiled a stunning new iPad mini that was redesigned, the new iPhone 13 and the Apple Watch Series 7. However, many expected that the previously held event would also unveil other new products such as a redesigned MacBook Pro that contains an M2 chip and an all-new look, the return of MagSafe, and the third-generation AirPods.
With an October event being confirmed now, many believe that these products will be announced at the conference, and will possibly go on sale the following week.
Other items that Apple could likely announce at this upcoming event include a redesigned Mac mini and maybe an upgrade as well to the 27-inch iMac range. The smaller iMac has been given a new look, so there is a high chance that the bigger variant may also get some attention.
Apple’s October 18 “Unleashed” Event will be held at 10 am PDT.
This marks the second year in a row that Apple has held an October event virtually due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The October 18 Unleashed event will be livestreamed across the Apple website, their YouTube channel and via the Apple TV app on iPad, iPhone, Mac and Apple TV.
