For the 2021 list, Fortune narrowed down 1,500+ companies to the most admired in the world with the assistance of management consulting company Korn Ferry and nearly 4,000 corporate executives, analysts and directors voting in a survey.

Tech and entertainment companies secured the top four spots, with Amazon as runner-up and Microsoft, Disney and Starbucks rounding out the top five, respectively.

“Apple tops the list for the 14th year in a row, based on our poll of around 3,800 corporate executives, directors, and analysts. Elsewhere on the All-Stars list, companies that became even more essential during the pandemic were among the biggest movers.”

Streaming giant Netflix returned to the top 10, a natural outcome given the pandemic situation. Meanwhile, Medical supplier Abbott Laboratories, chipmaker Nvidia, and fintech pioneer PayPal entered the top 50 for the very first time.
