Called ‘School Assistant’, it is a free app developed by Sun Apps to assist you for your schoolwork.
Thanks to the newly released update 2.5, School Assistant now has an Apple Watch app that allows you to schedule and show what your classes are for the day and week. Very soon, the app is also bringing improvements to create an easier experience. This version also includes the feature “Automatic Week Switching” and a new Schoolwork tab.
Already available for the iPad, iPhone and Mac, School Assistant is divided in five main tabs, namely:
Dashboard – It shows you everything you have for the day, such as current class, assignments and tests, and how much time is left in the current class, and the next one.
Classroom – This tab integrates with Google Classroom with direct access to Google Classroom classes and assignments.
Resources – Integrates all your classes and brings a built-in scanner and up to four saved websites, so you can quickly check your grades, textbooks, flash cards and more.
Schedule – Always keep track of your tasks for the week. Add classes when they happen, room information, and the teacher’s name. It is also possible to give any day a custom name.
Schoolwork – Manage your assignments and tests effectively. It is possible to quickly add an assignment or post, set its class and date, and add notes or a submission link.
School Assistant features three widgets for the iPhone, and supports both iPad and Mac sidebars.
The “Classwork Amounts” widget shows the current number of assignments and tests a student has. The Current and Next Class widgets come in two sizes, which shows the current class and when it ends.
The app is absolutely free to download and use, and the developer says it will “forever be free”.
