All the New Things announced on the March Apple Event – Peek Performance

Apple held its first virtual event for the year 2022 on Tuesday, March 8.

Entitled “Peek Performance”, it certainly unveiled a lot of wonderful surprises in just one hour.

“Introducing the all-new Mac Studio and Studio Display, new iPad Air, new iPhone SE, and iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro in two new shades of green.”

 

M1 Ultra

M1 Ultra, the next giant leap for Apple silicon and the Mac, is described by the tech giant as the world’s most powerful chip for a personal computer. It is available in the all-new Mac Studio, bringing unprecedented performance to the desktop.

Apple’s senior vice president of Hardware Technologies Johny Srouji said, “M1 Ultra is another game-changer for Apple silicon that once again will shock the PC industry. By connecting two M1 Max die with our UltraFusion packaging architecture, we’re able to scale Apple silicon to unprecedented new heights. With its powerful CPU, massive GPU, incredible Neural Engine, ProRes hardware acceleration, and huge amount of unified memory, M1 Ultra completes the M1 family as the world’s most powerful and capable chip for a personal computer.”

 

iPad Air 5

The new iPad Air 5 features the breakthrough M1 chip, a new front camera with Center Stage, ultra-fast 5G, and more.

Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing Greg Joswiak said, “Whether it’s a college student taking elaborate notes, a content creator working on their latest project, or a gamer playing graphics-intensive titles, users love iPad Air for its amazing performance and versatility in such a portable design. New Green Colors for the iPhone 13 Lineup

New and elegant alpine green iPhone 13 Pro and green iPhone 13 join the lineup, and both feature the lightning-fast A15 Bionic, advanced camera systems, great battery life, impressive durability, and 5G.

iPhone SE

The new iPhone SE is the most affordable iPhone, featuring the powerful A15 Bionic, compact design, improved durability, better battery life, 5G, and a whole new camera system with advanced features like Deep Fusion, Photographic Styles, and Smart HDR 4.

Mac Studio and Studio Display

The finale for the March event are the Mac Studio and Studio Display, a whole new Mac desktop and display designed to give users all they need to build the studio of their wildest dreams.
