Mac mini is made even more affordable, starting at only $599.

Apple on Tuesday unveiled the new Mac mini, boosted by M2 and the all-new M2 Pro. With the M2 chip, the Mac mini has become even more capable and powerful. Great news for those interested to get their hands on this one, as the tech company made the small desktop computer even more affordable with a new starting price of only $599!

The all-new M2 Pro chip provides pro performance to the Mac mini for the very first time, allowing users to run high-performance workflows that were previously unimaginable in such a compact design.

Mac mini with M2 and M2 Pro chips delivers faster performance, and even more unified memory. It also has advanced connectivity which includes support for up to two displays on the M2 model, while it can support up to three displays on the M2 Pro version. Paired with Studio Display and Magic accessories, along with the power and ease of macOS Ventura, the Mac mini offers a phenomenal desktop experience, taking users’ creativity and productivity to the next level.

For the environment conscious, Mac mini has been designed to be environment friendly, as it has been made from recycled materials, including aluminum in the enclosure and tin in the solder of the main logic board.

Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, said:

“With incredible capabilities and a wide array of connectivity in its compact design, Mac mini is used in so many places, in so many different ways. Today, we’re excited to take it even further with M2 and M2 Pro. Bringing even more performance and a lower starting price, Mac mini with M2 is a tremendous value. And for users who need powerful pro performance, Mac mini with M2 Pro is unlike any other desktop in its class.”
