Sources with a proven track record in predicting Apple’s technological advances, told AppleInsider that Apple has developed a “full-on solution” to multitasking on the iPhone OS, but offered no specifics on how the technology would optimize resource conversation and battery life – two of the most critical issues surrounding the matter, alongside security.
iPhone OS 4.0 is expected to reach us this summer, maybe at the same as a new iPhone is announced/released?

The rate at which mobile technology is growing and evolving is just mind boggling. Apparently the holographic communication devices we saw in Star Wars are now a technological reality!
Soon we will have built in projectors on mobiles that will be able to project both images and a 3D workspace. With cloud computing becoming the norm, no hard drive or even overtly large flash drive will be required. The death of the personal computer is imminent.
Just as mobiles are killing off the wristwatch industry so they are poised to start killing off larger competitors……
