Assembled Apple iPhone 5 Photos Leaked

The Apple iPhone 5 is one of the most anticipated smartphones at the moment, since everybody believes it will be one of those few devices able to compete with the Samsung Galaxy S3. There are many rumors about its possible features lately: some say it’ll come with a 3.9-inch touchscreen, others believe it will be big like Samsung’s recent phones, 4.2 inches at least. Now some new photos of the assembled iPhone 5 have leaked, but unfortunately, none of them can give us any idea about the actual size of its display.

We can only say from these pics that the iPhone 5 is stylish, and its screen is most likely bigger than that of the iPhone 4S (it would be strange in Apple decided to make a small iPhone again, despite all the wishes of their fans to see bigger iPhones). Perhaps it really measures at 3.9 inches, but we’ll find this out only after Apple introduces its new phone officially. Let’s just hope that they haven’t made a bigger screen at the expense of the screen resolution!

The body of the new iPhone 5 doesn’t seem to be made from glass like the iPhone 4S; judging by the pic, it’s more like metal with plastic or something like it. If it’s true, the iPhone 5 will be more durable than its predecessor that could shatter after one single drop. We can also see two small circles on the back of the phone’s body – one is the camera, and the second is, most likely, the LED flash. Back in 2010 Apple patented a new flash technology; it hasn’t appeared in any of the iPhones yet, so there is a chance that it’ll appear in the iPhone 5. We don’t know much about this technology yet – only that it has something to do with making flash more even.

Unfortunately, these pics don’t give us any hint on the hardware features of the upcoming iPhone. We can only guess that it’ll most likely come with a quad-core processor or a very powerful dual-core one if it’s going to compete with the famous Samsung Galaxy S3. And if it has a bigger screen and a cooler CPU, it has to be armed with a bigger battery, too.

Anyway, the Apple iPhone 5 will most likely be officially introduced in fall, and before that, we can only look at leaked images, make guesses and wait.

  1. As a self confessed Android fanboy it looks like I will have to shift the IOS. Back in Africa the penetration of Apple devices has been quite slow due to price restrictions and bad government import policies. I hope this changes soon!

  2. Looks good but, there are so many rumors about iPhone 5 so it is hard to find out which news is correct. I am eagerly waiting for iPhone 5.

  3. Taking into account that things have changed lately and Samsung is the one that sets the pace, I’m really exited to see this picture of iPhine 5. From what I see the design looks pretty fluent, but I’m more interested in the technical features.

  4. A safer bet would be a fake device altogether. The lighting and the shadows seem too natural to even take into account not one, but four separate highly-doctored images.

  6. I hoped it will be announced before the end of this year, honestly I thought it will be presented on the keynote this monday. I was expecting the legendary sentence at the end of the presentations: “and one more thing…’ But unfortunately I have felt a little bit disappointed. But these spy photos look pretty cool!

  8. Samsung’s line of products are so good that if Apple is not able to come up with a much better version of the iPhone, which most expect would be the iPhone 5, then it could well be at risk being left out by smartphone users.

  9. Thanks for the update. I can’t wait for the new iPhone, I’ve had a couple of them so far and can’t speak more highly about them. The screen size is the big talking point but I’m not so fussed about that. I’d like some further improvements such as a memory card slot, but pretty sure we won’t see that coming soon.

  11. I must say the iPhone 5 looks pretty good, although it seems a bit different and quite a huge change in design. I’m not sure if that’s how it will look when it’s released.
