Gravity Co., Ltd, a publisher and developer of online and mobile games, has announced that on June 28, 2021, their MMORPG game Ragnarok Origin has been officially launched in Japan.
On the very first day of its release, Ragnarok Origin has ranked no. 1 in free download both in Google Play and the Apple App Store in Japan.
After the massively multiplayer online role-playing game was launched in South Korea on July 7 last year, it stayed in the top 10 downloads of Google Play and Apple App Store in Korea for three consecutive months.
Gravity’s parent company Gungho Online Entertainment currently publishes this game and variable launching celebration events are being rolled out to Japanese users.
Ragnarok Origin is a mobile MMORPG game developed by Gravity. The game boasts the most improved art and high-quality 3D graphics since the legendary Ragnarok Online. First released in South Korea on August 2002 for Microsoft Windows, Ragnarok Online is based on the manhwa Ragnarok by Lee Myung-jin. The game was so successful that it spawned an animated series named Ragnarok the Animation and a sequel game called Ragnarok Online 2: Legend of the Second.
In Ragnarok Origin, players can nurture their character through unique jobs, choose any class they wish, and customize freely to start a new adventure. What’s great about this mobile game is that players can fully customize their character, mercenary, garden and pet; enjoy new selfies and makeup for their characters and they get to receive rewards from showing off costumes with the magazine system. Additionally, there’s a special community content where players can form friendships with guild members.
Players can also experience many different activities within the game such as gardening, fishing and mining in an authentic world of Ragnarok Origin.
