Apple Watch Activity Challenge for Earth Day 2022 set on April 22

Apple announced on Tuesday the latest Apple Watch Activity Challenge, which aims to celebrate Earth Day 2022.

Scheduled on Friday, April 22, Apple Watch owners can participate on the event by completing any workout for at least 30 minutes, as reported by MacRumors. Participants can record their workout in the Apple Fitness app or in any app that can submit data to the Health app.

Once they have successfully completed the Earth Day 2022 Apple Watch Activity Challenge, users will be awarded a special Earth Day badge in the Fitness App along with a variety of animated stickers that can be used in the Messages and FaceTime apps.

“Let’s get moving and celebrate the planet. On April 22, do any workout for 30 minutes or more to earn this award. Record it with the Workout app or any app that adds to Health”, the Activity Challenge will quote once it becomes available to Apple Watch users a few days before Earth Day.

Apple typically announces these types of fitness challenges for Apple Watch users all over the world in line with a celebration or to commemorate a specific day as well as to promote its own Apple Fitness+ service, motivating people to move as well as encouraging them to stay healthy and fit with the help of the latest workout and training features.

Apple Fitness+ is a fitness service powered by Apple Watch. Customers who buy an Apple Watch Series 3 or later will be granted free access to the Apple Fitness+ service for three months.
