I’ve been blogging with TechPatio.com and providing the world with tech news and stuff for just three months – and I just put out another blog. I call it ApplePatio.com. Yes, you guessed it, twice. It’s about Apple and it’s still within my ‘Patio theme (branding FTW, right?).
Why?
In September I noticed that I was slowly starting to move away from what I wanted with TechPatio: A tech blog that deals with a wide aspect of technology (Internet, Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, tech news and a ton of other stuff). What I mostly got, in September, was an Apple blog, mostly with Snow Leopard and iPhone posts. I don’t think that’s what most of my readership cares about, am I right?
So from now on, you should stop seeing all those short Apple news updates and similar. Instead I might create a post to promote some of my stuff from ApplePatio if I believe it will be of interest for the TechPatio readership, but I’ll also add the ApplePatio RSS feed somewhere in the right column sidebar.
Join… who, me? Yes, you!
If you’re a just a tad interested (or want to learn more) in Apple, Mac, iPhone, Apple TV and whatever other products might be coming out of Cupertino, CA, I’d love to see you at ApplePatio – I could use some RSS subscribers and commentators over there too 🙂
Did I mention that ApplePatio is also a do follow blog, so by commentating at both my blogs you could get double the link love.
I’ve already moved some of my Apple posts from TechPatio to ApplePatio, including the comments to those posts, so that’s why you might find some of your own comments over there as well.
I hope all you Mac users (including wannabe Mac users) will help me make ApplePatio a great place for anything Apple 🙂
Cheers!
Very cool. I only have an iPhone, but a Mac is on my wish list for later this year or early next year. I’ll be checking out the new site to keep up on the news.

Great news right here my friend, I am already adding it to my reader and have yet to see one post. I am a MacBook Pro user and constantly trying to learn about this thing, this new blog of yours will hopefully help with that. 🙂
Best of luck with the new project!

I hope to be able to offer some kind of “Mac 101” section where I publish new teachings related to Mac & (Snow) Leopard usage, including stuff from my everyday life where I usually get various questions every now and then on how to do this and that.
After all, I’m the grandpa’ of at least 10 other Mac users in my close network that all switched because of my recommendations 😀
Wow, now you have 2 blogs within 3 months of blogging. Great for you! Me still stuck with one blog. 🙁 Been thinking to expand the number of blogs but still thinking about the blog niche.

If you’re in doubt about what niche to pick, then it’s probably a good idea to wait with your 2nd blog until you’re absolutely sure about what you’ll be writing about 🙂
Hope it works out for you!

Good for you, TechPatio! Productive blogger you are. Although I’m not a Mac user (as much as I hope to be one), I’ll support your effort all the way. All the best in your new project and perhaps, as Christie once put it, Apple just may pay you to review their products in future. Never say never! Anything is possible. ^^

Thank you Ching. And if you ever have any questions or need advice on what Mac to pick, you know where to find me – always happy to help (also if it doesn’t include Mac’s, of course!)

I have an old Mac desktop, an iPod, and am saving up to get an iPad. I work all day on PCs but have been a gradual convert to Mac products. I will be stopping back to get the scoop on things here. I’m really excited about getting a Magic TrackPad, looking forward to changing the way I interact with my Mac.
