Sony just announced a new speaker dock for the iPhone/iPod with even more focus on sound. Adding to the growing range of speaker docks for Apple iPod and iPhone, Sony have added the RDP-X50iP. With a compact minimalist design, this latest model has been designed to deliver the best possible audio quality at an affordable price with its 2x20W RMS speakers and wireless remote with full menu control for iPhone and iPod.

The RDP-X50iP is compatible with iPhone 3GS and current iPod models. Unfortunately Sony doesn’t mention iPhone 4 so it’s uncertain how the iPhone 4 will perform with it.

Read my review of the older Sony DS11iP dock also for iPhone.
