It is a wearable Smartphone device which helps you to communicate to internet through easy natural language voice commands. It is movable from one frame to another for which Google has integrated in a partnership with the famous Italian eye wear company Luxottica, owners of Ray Ban and other high end brands for adding exciting frame designs. Camera- It allows you to take pictures and record videos in 720P HD format with an ease of gestures giving you an amazing royal experience. Relatively Glass disappoints in terms of camera quality as Smart phone giants like Apple and Samsung provide brilliant camera quality. But Glass has developed an edge by providing with the option of taking pictures through gestures.
Screen Sharing- This awesome feature in Google gives you the option of screen sharing of your current display. This can be done through Google Hangout giving you the best of all ways to interact with other people Live Stream- Broadcasting could never be this easy as soon as this feature of live stream came in with the Glass. With this you can video shoot anything you are looking at giving you an awesome user experience and probably the best way to record videos with additional features like capturing the moment.
Display & Touchpad- As per display is concerned the explorer version of Glass uses a Liquid Crystal on Silicon with LED illuminated display. In order to control the device a Touchpad is provided which is located on the side of glass providing timeline like display with swiping options. In this the sliding option shows the current and past events. With forward sliding you can check past events like phone calls, photos etc. and with backward sliding you can check current events such as weather etc.
Voice Activation- This feature gives you the facility by which one can command Glass by simply tilting one’s head 30 degree upward or by just a tap on its touchpad and say “O.K. GLASS” which shall activate the Glass and prepare it to follow one’s direction, such as “Take Picture”, “Record a video”, “Getting Directions” etc.
Availability– Getting Google Glass is not that much easy. You need to become a Google glass explorer. For that you need to apply and after that all you have to do is waiting. If chosen to become an explorer, then the next step for you is to pay 1500 US Dollars (plus tax!) making it probably most expensive glasses you’ll ever buy.
