Why you might ask? Simple! Because there are TONS of EXCITING games that we can play this year.
Now before I even share the top 3 games that I’m so excited to play this 2014, allow me to tell you that I’m also open to suggestions. I’ll surely appreciate it if you’ll also share with me the set of games that you’re looking to play this year.
That way, once I’m done with the my top 3, I can check out your games and play them as well.
Alright! Without further adieu… here are the top 3 most exciting games that I’d like to play this year!
The Division
What?! You haven’t heard of this? You have got to be kidding me!
The Division is one of the best and most anticipated games under the Tom Clancy brand.
One of the best things that I like about The Division is that it is inspired by real events like the Operation Dark Winter and Directive 51. After watching the game’s trailer, I was very impressed with the graphics. You could how the day turns to night and how the environment reacts to weather changes. The attention to detail is impeccable and everything looks real.
In this game, you will play as one of The Division agents. After a virus almost wiped the entire New York City, your job is to save the remaining citizens, fight against the enemies and find the source that caused the city’s fall.
Upgrade your skills and collect weapons that you can use in the battle. Like Vice City, you can explore the whole map in the game. There are no non-player characters or NPC to talk to for missions. But there are various objectives that you may complete anytime you wish.
Supported platforms include Xbox One, Playstation 4, Wii U, PC and Mac. However, tablet and smartphone players may use The Division Companion App to join and support the other players from an aerial view. They can shoot enemies, spot and mark them for The Division agents to see, as well as buff the team members.
If you love action packed shooting games, this is something that you should not miss.
The Walking Dead: Season Two
Whether you’re a fan of the Walking Dead comic book series, tv series or the first installment of the game that was released in 2012, there’s no way that you would not have heard of this one before. The storyline picks up from the last episode of the original game. In Season Two, you will play the role of Clementine, instead of Lee, which was previously the main character.
Survive in the world infested by the undead. Be careful with your decisions as they would determine your fate and how the story will go. There are 5 episodes in the game and the first episode, “All That Remains” was released in December last year. The release of the next episodes is yet to be announced but it’s expected to be this year.
What’s good about this game is that you would feel that you’re a part of the story. It’s not just all about fighting. You’ll be immersed with the storyline too.
World of Cheese
If you prefer puzzle games, check out World of Cheese. This app can be played with Android and IOS devices. If you’re an Android user, download World of Cheese on Google Play. If you have iOS, get World of Cheese on App Store.
It’s free to play so you’ll have fun puzzle gaming time without spending anything. Well, for the first 10 levels of the app at least. It has 7 stages set in different areas of a large manor with 35 levels to complete. Remaining levels can be purchased as a package from the app store.
Mr. Mousey’s huge family ran out of cheese. Help him find the hidden cheese around the house by solving each puzzle. Sounds easy, right? Not exactly. The first few levels may be as easy as 1, 2, 3. But the remaining levels would test your thinking and problem solving skills.
So if you’re looking for a challenging puzzle game, this one is for you.
