JotForm Cards Review

Whether you want to conduct an online survey, receive applications for a job, or place a contact form on your site, you will need an online form builder to collect information. Founded in 2006, JotForm is one of the most innovative form builders on the market. They’ve recently released JotForm Cards, an innovative new format for online forms. JotForm Cards ask one question at a time, compared to traditional all-questions-on-one-page format, so making a sleek and professional form is easy.

1. Sign up for JotForm then click “Create Form.”

2. Choose the new ‘One question per page’ form layout. You will then have the option to create your own form from scratch or choose from over 10,000 ready to use templates. There are forms for product orders, event registration, job applications, event feedback, membership, hotel booking and employment application among others.

3. Hover your cursor over the template you would want to use and click on the ‘Use Template’ tab. You can either use a customizable template or create an online form from scratch.

Here is what I loved most about Jotform Cards:

One question at a time – Unlike traditional forms that have numerous questions on the same page, JotForm Cards questions are asked one at a time. This makes it easier for respondents to focus. Studies have shown that forms made with JotForm Cards have a 36% higher conversion rate. That means that more people will complete your form.

Free training – Once you’ve signed up, you’ll receive informative onboarding emails. JotForm also has a 24/7 support team and user guides, which are helpful. However, JotForm is incredibly easy to use and you should be able to create online forms from scratch upon your first time trying out the product. But when in doubt, video tutorials are also available to watch on their YouTube channel.

Dozens of integrationsJotform Cards is integrated with pretty much every business tool that you can think of. Some of JotForm’s most popular integrations are payment processors, since a common use case of JotForm is to collect custom orders, sell products or tickets, collect donations, and generally accept money online. JotForm integrates with PayPal, Stripe, Square, and more. Other business tools that JotForm integrates with are Salesforce, Dropbox, Mailchimp, Excel, Google Sheets and more.

Aesthetically appealing
Compared to other online forms, JotForm Cards are very appealing to the eye. Within minutes, you can customize the logos, images, colors and fonts to match your brand.

Fun and Friendly
JotForm Cards come with features such as micro-animations, icons, and emojis. This allows users to ask questions in a friendly and fun way that respondents can relate to.

JotForm offers micro animations, which are subtle motions that help users. For example, if they accidentally type in an incorrect email address, the form can shake a little bit, just like a person shaking their head. This is a more pleasant and helpful experience than what you’ll typically see on an online form: a bright red error message.

Motivational
Another unique feature of JotForm Cards is a progress bar that displays bright green dots when someone completes a question. This encourages respondents to carry on until the end.

Mobile compatibility
JotForm Cards are compatible with all kinds of mobile devices. All you need to do is swipe to see the next question on a form.

Ability to embed
You can easily embed a form created with JotForm on your website with just a tiny snippet of code, or you can use JotForm as a standalone link. JotForm Cards allow you to embed forms on your WordPress site using the Embed Form plugin. You can also publish forms on third-party platforms such as Zoey, Joomla, Xara, Drupal, Yola and Frontpage.

Conclusion
JotForm Cards have transformed the boring and painstaking process of filling out forms to a friendly, motivational and fun experience. Regardless of your industry, these cards will satisfy all your online form needs.

JotForm: the friendly way to ask.
