“Star Wars – A New Hope” Remake By Star Wars Fans

Star WarsA total of 472 Star Wars fans have joined to create a remake of the first Star Wars movie, Episode IV – A New Hope.

The movie has been divided into 472 scenes of 15 seconds each. At this time, however, it seems that all 472 scenes have been taken – even more than once – so it might be too late for you and your Star Wars friends to join in on the remake of this great movie. Maybe you’ll get lucky with Episode V, if they decide to do one more movie?

Check it out at starwarsuncut.com where you can see the original scenes as well as the scenes already uploaded by Star Wars fans. When all 472 scenes have been uploaded, the people behind the project will stitch them together and we can all enjoy a new version of Star Wars Episode IV – A New Hope.

  3. Heehee what an inspirational idea. Would be quite interesting to watch all the 472 scenes made by different people. 🙂
Were you involved in any scene by any chance?

    • Unfortunately I didn’t learn about this project until after all the scenes seems to have been taken 🙁 Would have been cool though. But at least there are 5 other episodes, so I just hope they will do some of them too 🙂

      • There’s a chance yet there then. Who knows I may even get involved, though I have no idea about any scene or the script. May just be an opportunity to get to know it, and have a little fun.

        • I don’t think script will be a problem. I would assume that you have to follow the original script so there’s a storyline to follow. The scene of course, would probably have to be as well-designed as possible.
