Engadget had their hands on the new Samsung Galaxy tab for a preview and several specifications are now available:

  • Android 2.2 with TouchWiz 3.0
  • 7″ capacitive touch screen with 1024×600 resolution
  • Weight: 380 grams
  • 16GB or 32GB internal storage
  • 1 GHz Cortex A8 CPU
  • 1.3MP front-facing camera and 3MP on the back
  • 3G data and voice
  • 802.11N WIFI
  • Full HD video playback
  • 30-pin dock connector for HDMI, USB and docking accessories

Engadget likes the device and seems really impressed over the apps that Samsung built into the Galaxy Tab.

Price is expected to be around $5-600 but hasn’t been confirmed yet.

Yeah, rightly said. This release is indeed great, but its not an Ipad killer. Ipad is far more better.
