Without Steve Jobs, Apple will not be able to continue to produce “magical” products. At least that’s what George Colony from Forrester (analytics company) writes on his blog.
Even though Apple continues to beat their own records every time they release new financial statements, George Colony thinks that Apple will eventually end up like Sony – a giant that makes mediocre products, and may not even able to produce a profit each quarter.
He describes Apple as a company that was driven by Steve Jobs and his visions, charisma and willingness to take a risk. Without him, Apple will coast and then decelerate.
So when will it begin to go south?
In two to four years, he believes. Tim Cook might be a good man to keep the engines running, but he lacks charisma and visions to steer Apple in a forward direction – says George.
