  2. Haha, Matt is so funny :). Of course it flows. How can people ask so easy questions? Also the anchor text is considered the alt attribute. Also it flows through 301 redirects as well. It does not flow through rel=nofollow links. Put do not worry about PR. Not only that, but even links are becoming more and more irrelevant. The future is in user behavior.

  3. It mustn’t be a question, of course it flows! I mean, you have to use dofollow links, but it really works! And forget the nofollow ones…

  4. It’s actually pretty crappy that it does. If you host images on different domains (as per the google pagespeed tool suggestion), you end up with strange results.

  5. A link without a nofollow tag is still valid, whether it wraps a string of text or an image tag, of course it works !.

  8. Good information for a newbie, but generally I’m sure it’s accepted image links do pass on value too. We have to be careful when setting image names, and alt text.
