For us, without the analytics feature on the dashboard, this software is really worthless. Why? Without, what you will get is only information, and information that you will struggle to make sense of.
With analytics, you can point to information at a certain point in time so you can spot trends. With the help of a good Salesforce tutorial and a few clicks, you can also configure the software so that it shows to types of data, which you can then analyze to determine how one affects the other.
