Conclusion: November ’10
In the last income report (October) I said that I was sure November would bring in more visitors but less income. I was right, but not by much. Now let me make another prediction, December will be much lower both in terms of visitors and income. Personally, I won’t have much time to visit blogs with Christmas just around the corner nor will I have much time to update this one. So whatever income will come in December, will probably be from Google AdSense – and hopefully some Amazon sales for Christmas presents 🙂

If you’re a blogger/webmaster – how was last month for you? Leave a comment below & get a free do-follow* link back to your site!
I reserve the right to “no-follow” links if your site is not yet indexed in Google or if your site seems questionable or just an attempt to spam. In almost all cases, a real comment from a real human being will get a do-follow link, unless you enter keywords instead of your name, which is not allowed!
Not bad.
You need a product that’s yours. Or a product that you can resell for like a 30-50%margin. Or both.
That will ramp you into the thousands.
Yes but it’s not easy to make a product for a blog like this…
Believe me, I know. If it were only so easy.
Great blog though. As you can tell, I like it and have become a regular. I like how it has a nice spread of topics, all lightly linked under the “technical” umbrella.
A lot of sites that specialize in any one area, like photography, mobile phones, Apple, etc., etc., are too narrow and become boring quite quickly.
I know going wide is more work and requires more expertise but you are managing to hold it together quite well.
How old is this site?
Thanks, Rob in Atlanta
Yeah it’s nice to see you coming back every now and then.
I don’t think there’s any question that if seen from a money standpoint, a narrow approach is the way to go. But that’s really not what I want to do. It easily becomes “work” rather than “enjoy” if you have to stick within a very narrow topic and I’ll be unable to share my content with the world in other topics, unless I open more blogs which means more work and more maintenance, so no thanks. I’m keeping this blog the way it is (for now) so people who will read it are likely to be people with the same interests as me (Apple, photography, general web stuff).
This site was launched Summer 2009.
I know what you mean. I have three sites right now and my overwhelming thought at the moment is the drop the two smaller ones, move their content to the main one and redirect everything.
Just not looking forward to it.
That’s still a very good month, Klaus. I mean, you’re on point to averaging $5,000 a month online; that’s not shabby. Not where you want to be, but way ahead of the game; congrats.
$5,000? I wish 🙂 But $500, yeah, it’s getting close.
You know, I was thinking “year” and still typed “month”; ugh! lol
Who cares, I’ll have to make do with $5,000 a month then, just to satisfy you 😀
Yeah, you do that for me… slacker! lol
Not bad obviously. It seems that you are trying to make money with affiliate programs, such as Amazon, is it easy or difficult?
I find it difficult, regarding Amazon. People usually don’t come to my blog in a “buying mood” but because they’re searching for solutions on google or to read whatever I write.
Wow, that is quite good income that you are getting from your blog in the sense that more than half of the bloggers do not even earn that much
$452 is not bad at all, especially when it comes from one sinle blog/source!
Yep, I’m also satisfied. Thanks for stopping by, Cole 🙂
Another great month for you.
Do you have other blog where you are getting your income from?
Thanks. I have more sites but the income listed here, is only for this blog.
Great income mate. i wish that you reach your target soon.
Yeah I’ve been getting quite a lot of sales recently from Amazon. Guess it’s time to rack up those affiliate earnings for Christmas!
Good to see your visitors are slowly building up again
Its nice of you sharing your income as not many blogs do that. Probably because the earnings are not as high as what you are getting here. I wish you more success in the future! Thanks.
I have just started my blog last month. So lets see how the coming month goes.Till now I have just few $
Your income report is great.
Thanks for sharing. But I’m just worried that sharing your adsense income earnings is against TOS. Just a heads up.
I doubt it. I’m not showing any screensots or anything. In fact, I could be lying about the numbers 🙂
Actually, I just checked – it says:
“However, You may accurately disclose the amount of Google’s gross payments to You pursuant to the Program.”
it’s in section 7: https://www.google.com/adsense/localized-terms
I would say that you are probably right about December but only because it is the holiday season. It is always interesting to see how I am doing compared to others.
This seems to be a nice income. Hope you reach $500 very soon. And I agree with one of the comments above “Not even half of the bloggers earn this much!!!”
All the best.
Looks like you had a great improvement this November. I can’t wait for the result of your blog earnings by december. I am pretty sure you did far more greater than this earning. I thought it was not allowed to have both Google Adsense and Infolinks? I just read about it in the other blog, would you mind confirming or disapproving on it?
Not a bad earning at all!!
