Win-win situation: Sell your old gadgets and help the environment

Why throw out your old cell phone? Or any other gadget for that matter? When you can just as easily make a little extra money by selling it and at the same time you help the environment, rather than throwing gadgets out (and if you do decide to throw it out, make sure you recycle your electronics properly!!)

On a site such as sellcell.com you can use the price comparison service to find the best possible price for any of your old electronics, or newer electronics as well, so you can even sell ipad for cash if that’s what you want.

Alternatively, you could always “recycle” your old electronics to your girlfriend/wife or another family member (I’m assuming here that the geek of the house is a male), but let’s be honest, in most situations you need to sell your old stuff to help finance new gadgets – and it’s never going to stop, there will always be something new just around the corner, or a year or two into the future, so unless you have one of those all green money-making trees in your backyard, it’s usually important (or at least a good idea) to have a reliable plan for what to do with your used electronics to avoid losing too much money in order to stay up-to-date on gadgets.

  1. I always try to give my old gadgets to someone who really needs them, as it would be a waste of resources to trough them away. If the gadgets are in a bad condition, the only solution is to recycle them.

  4. Hey also just throwing away the electronics pollutes the environment with the lead and cadmium. All the electronics has to be properly recycled and not thrown or disposed just like that. So, always try to recycle it and do your part on saving our mother earth
