The mobile phone is without doubt man’s greatest invention. In the beginning, the mobile phone was only meant for making phone calls while being outdoors. Fast forward to today, the device has leapfrogged bounds from its initial inception into a more technologically advanced smart device. The smartphone, as we know it, has quintessentially become an indispensible part of lives and has dramatically changed the way we live.
The mobile phones of today, thanks to a lot of innovations, can be crammed with a multitude of features and gadgets inside a very small package. Aside from the ability to make phone calls, a regular phone today is equipped with tools like a camera and flashlight, has the ability to play multimedia files, and can provide access to the internet through either Wi-Fi or cellular data. Good phones, on the other hand, have a lot more to offer.
When it comes to smartphones, many consider the iPhone to be the best – the crème de la crème. While it is true that it does not boast the high-specs of the flagship models of its competitors, the iPhone outdoes others through its well-rounded performance, better and faster applications, robust security, and ease of use.
The iPhone, in many ways, is a very useful device. Another aspect of it is that it also serves as a fashion statement. For most people, there is a different feeling sporting the latest iPhone, kind of like a sense of entitlement. While it may seemingly sound arrogant, imagine yourself in a cafe with the latest iPhone 7 and unintentionally glancing at the person on the next table using a knockoff or mid-range China phone. Yep, that’s the feeling. While you may choose to dismiss it, the feeling of superiority or “mine is better than yours” is nevertheless inside you.
As with every new iPhone release, the latest in technological advancements in mobile computing are implemented on the new device. As such, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are no different. Not only is there huge leap in the aspect of computer processing in the iPhone 7 when compared to the previous version, the camera, one of the iPhones main asset, has also been greatly improved. According to Apple, the new sensor is 60% faster and has better low light capabilities. The larger iPhone on the other hand boasts of two rear-facing cameras, giving you the option to choose between a wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens. Such improvement in many of its tech specs is what keeps every new version of iPhone all the more desirable.
Of course, having the latest iPhone 7 or iPhone 7+ does not come cheap. Whether you’re getting the phone from a subscribed plan with a mobile network operator, or paying for the unit itself, the smartphone can be a bit pricey for most individuals. This is partly what makes it very appealing. One aspect though that is not appealing on such an expensive gadget are – dents and scratches.
The best way to overcome such dents and scratches is, of course, by protecting your phone. By investing in a film or tempered glass screen protector as well as a protective casing for the unit’s body, you will be able to reduce the occurrence of unwanted nicks and bruises on your phone.
These days, you will find a wide assortment of phone cases available for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Some are intended to be cute, while some are intended to provide rugged protection. For a lot of people though, a rugged protective case is more practical as it helps protect your phone unit during those unintentionally clumsy days. Now, if you want to get the best of both worlds, the carbon fiber iPhone 7 case provides good protective functionality while being fashionable at the same time. If you have the larger iPhone version, carbon fiber iPhone 7 plus cases are also available. If you value your phone, having such a nifty phone casing can provide the necessary protection your phone needs from scenarios like hard bumps and/or accidental drops.
Maintaining the exterior of your iPhone is important, most especially if you have plans on selling the unit someday. After all, the condition of the unit plays a key role in the pricing of your iPhone unit. Overall, a pristine unit will always sell for a better price. This is what makes having a physical protection like a reliable phone case and a screen protector all the more crucial as they provide the necessary protection to preserve the exterior of the mobile unit.
It is understandable to think that Apple makes their iPhones physically and digitally robust. The iPhone 7’s aluminum casing is usually more than enough to protect the inner guts of the unit during the lifetime of the phone while the ion-strengthened screen of the unit is relatively strong enough against regular scratches. This is true. Even so, heavy bumps can lead to dents and scratches on your beloved iPhone device, whereas an elevated drop creates a risk in breaking or shattering your screen. Even if you have no plans in selling your phone in the future, such damages are unwanted and can be prevented by investing in protective accessories for your iPhone.
RIP to my iPhone. It’s too late for mine, but a carbon fiber case like you suggest probably would have saved it. I lost all my photos too 🙁 but thanks for these tips – i’ll use them on the next one
That carbon fiber iPhone 7 cases looks very rugged and seems to give a good protection to iPhone 7. I personally use this kind of rugged case to have maximum protection.
I am thinking to buy iPhone 8. And what is the funny thing that I am searching information how to preserve it safely :). However, You have written some good tips.
Thanks for sharing these tips. Yea, I’d like to agree that a carbon fiber case can provide protection. Reason why I moved to Android phones is that the repair of iPhone is way too expensive.
