Sony just confirmed that Facebook is coming for the PlayStation 3, after several pictures revealed the social network on a PS3 a few days ago.
Facebook and Twitter is already scheduled to be released for Xbox 360 in a software update November 17th.
There’s still no news about when Facebook for PlayStation 3 will be available but according to rumors, Sony will add it in their next PS3 software update. More information should be available soon, says Sony.
Very cool, guess I could FB chat while playing call of duty 🙂
I hope you don’t plan on using the joypad to move from letter to letter on the onscreen keyboard then 😀

I doubt it 🙂 But I’ve never tried Facebook on a console, only on the iPhone – and there you only have the most basic Facebook features without the most advanced applications.
Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

apparently as the only one here I’ll say … “oh, more facebook” well wooptidoo. Unless it allows me to draw out people from facebook and whack them in GTA, I dont get the fuzz. Although the point Phaoloo makes about mafia does sound a bit tempting.

The latest I’ve heard is that the PS3 Facebook version isn’t a “full version” like the one for Xbox, but more like a possiblity to connect your PS3 with Facebook in order to post status updates and such. But I’m not sure – hope it’s not going to be THAT simple!
