Blogging is the answer if you’re trying to find ways on how you could reach a larger market.  This can be an excellent marketing tool to promote a business.  However, this is not as easy as it seems since you have to learn the different strategies on how you can achieve your objective.  If you employ the right blogging strategies, there’s no doubt that you will be raking in a good amount of money.

There are several ways in which you can generate income from blogging.  Blogs can be a good venue to post your articles and at the same time, generate some income.  Google AdSense can help you sell a space in your blog to companies or advertisers.

Google AdSense is not complicated.  All you have to do is to copy a code into your blog site and Google will do the rest of the job for you.  Again, this is not as easy as it seems as you need a significant number of visitors before you can earn an income.

You can also earn money from blogging simply through word of mouth.  If you have a blog that is very informative, people will talk about it and share it to other people.  This is one of the easiest and fastest ways to expand your market.

Lastly, blogging can be a part of your promotional and marketing activities.

Below are ways on how you can earn income from blogging:

  1. Choose the right keywords. Search engines base their ranking on keywords.  You will most likely get a high rank if you know what keywords to use. Choose the proper keywords, optimize your site for them and benefit a lot!
  2. Consistently create content for your blog.  Web users expect continuity from blogs – this means that you will have more chances of having a successful blog if you continuously supply them with valuable content.
  3. Inject images and videos. Pictures as well as videos can definitely add color to your blog.  There are web users that get inspired by reading articles that have images or videos in it.
  4. Improve the traffic to your site. Your content will mean nothing if your blog is not frequented by visitors.  Take time to promote your site, for instance, by building links that leads to it.  Visit other blogs that have a similar niche like yours and ask if they can post your link on theirs, but before doing so, make sure that you have impressive content.

Seems very easy, but with a log of people competwting, it is really tough 🙂

You can make a few bucks blogging perhaps but I bet the time invested makes the hourly pay really low.

I would rather use a blog as a vehicle to sell a product or service at a much higher margin.

Well if you keep on nourishing it, the money will come and it’ll be more than just a few bucks 🙂

I started from getting around $10 a month to $1000 a month. But yeah, this happened in about 2-3 years, so…. perhaps you are right in a way 🙂 the time invested might not be worth it

I agree with Rob. Selling products with a blog as a marketing tool will bring in real cash flow. Making money with Google Adsense in a blog is good for a hobby not livelihood.

Making money through blogging is not very easy. If you have enough time and patience to submit new articles every week, then people will visit your site, otherwise your efforts won’t be fruitful. Optimization is very important for nay kind of blogs.

That’s the thing so many profit bloggers forget, you need a good blog before you try to make money!

I am making a little bit of money by blogging, I just want to know that, is it ok to use any kind of software or webware for finding long tail niches? Is it really works?

I agree blogging is a great marketing tool for your business, but is a lot harder than you think at first glance. You always have to keep the content fresh and up to date. But you still can make extra money at it.

There is definately big money in blogging, but I only operate in my own country. I simply find the competition on international keywords too high.

Like in any market you can make money if you educate yourself and you strive for it.

But there are also many factors. Like you have to choose the right products to advertise. I’ve know of some sites that had like 500,000 pageviews per month, but made only $500 per month. While others with like 1,000 were making over $1,000 per month.

Adsense is one way of earning some money but Google bans lots of blogs without any reason or explanation. I would suggest placing affiliate links in blogs posts and banner but by using nofollow tag.

Never giving up is also very important. I think that is why a lot of blogs don’t make money, because so many bloggers either give up or don’t put in as much effort as they should.

Simple steps for minting money through blogging, that’s how your article is. Good one. A blogger should be ready to spend time for blogging, otherwise the initial effort will be in vain.

It is really hard to make some serious money online with blogging as basically everyone is doing it. There are however ways to excel and some people do it. You need to be really dedicated and to concentrate on what you are doing. It is also important that you find a niche where you can excel. Using some that you are personally interested in is a great help.

I think that “number 3” is extra important. I am a blogger in Stockholm, Sweden and use a lot of images, videos – and animations! – on my blog. It´s a way to present serious things as a sort of infotainment. This give more traffic to your blog!
