Romuald Fons, a 43-year-old Spanish YouTuber and entrepreneur, recently made headlines as he made a whopping €1 million in just seven days by selling 1,500 subscriptions of his CreceTube course for €700 apiece.
Fons’ specialty is in digital marketing, and his viral videos and courses teach others how to master search engine optimization (SEO) and be able to get more hits on their websites. When you search for his YouTube channel, it naturally appears at the top of a Google search, and he offers to show others, especially those who are fairly new to the scene, which are the best ways on how to improve their video content.
“I have bought every course available and explain things that have never been explained. We demonstrate how to use Google so people know what kind of content to create”, Fons told El Pais, a daily newspaper in Spain.
He was not always this internet sensation with 721,000 YouTube subscribers. When Fons first started out in January 2013, he created ten websites and earned a humble €2.48, while he attempted to figure out which algorithms worked best.
He said, “I was seeing which ones worked well and which ones did not. I began to create my positioning strategy. The choice of sites was not random. I was looking for the ones with the most searches and paid the most for ad clicks.”
Fons currently has 41 employees working for him at his BIGSEO Agency and charges clients an incredible €30,000 a year.
